The Cally Festival

Caledonian Road is one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods and host to the Cally Festival, an annual celebration of everything the area has to offer. Each year, for one day, we close the road and over 7000 people come together to throw a huge party in it.

Expect music, performance, art, activities, creative workshops and much more. We also open the road to a street market of delicious food to eat and brilliant things to buy. The Cally Festival is a free event for the whole community.

Areas and activities include:

Weeds School
Learn about herbs and flavour at Weeds School’s free seasoning-making workshops, where you’ll create your own blend to take home.

Line Dancing with Val Almeida

Main Stage
The Main Stage is the beating heart of Cally Festival – a vibrant open-air celebration of music, creativity and community spirit. From soul and reggae to rock, funk and genre-blending sounds, enjoy performances from Brunk!, Nkombu, DJ Kerol Garcia, Key Changes, Rhythm Explorers, IFO Band and Britain’s Got Reggae artists.

Floodshare

FLOODSHARE was created as part of the Cally Fest Young People’s Performance Project from creative explorations of the relationship between our inner lives and the world outside, uncovering shared feelings about housing, city life, isolation, and the search for connection.

Inspired by a real flood that struck Caledonian Road on 24th February, the piece weaves together fictional characters drawn from personal experience to tell a story that reflects the Cally community and hopefully, something of yourself.

Led by Odd Eyes Theatre with the Stuart Low Trust, a charity working with people affected by isolation and mental health struggles.

FREE. No booking required – just show up at the address!
