Ever wanted to get on stage but not sure where to start? Come along on July 26th and find your voice at a Write2Speak open mic. Your words have the power to influence and change lives and perceptions. Step up to the stage and make a difference, take the mic and let your heart lead the way. If speaking publicly isn’t for you, then just come along with open hearts and ears. We look forward to meeting you if we haven’t already!

Ever wanted to gain confidence in a group setting or learn how to write so you can speak publicly? Then a classic Write2Speak one off workshop, supporting participants to express themselves through spoken word poetry might be the place for you! This workshop is a rare opportunity to explore oneself and the world around us. Join us on July 21st for your chance to speak your truth and connect with other like minds.



The Journey

This joyful parade invites you to embark on a musical journey that celebrates the power of community. Award-winning brass band Perhaps Contraption flood the River Stage with rhythms and harmonies. They will combine an original pop score with physical theatre, signed poetry and mime.

Jordan Charles

Soul singer and poet brings his infectious energy to the River Stage, guiding you through GDIF’s joyful Friday programme. Well-known for fronting Cocoa Butter Club nights and Kinky Kabaret – he will have you up and dancing in no time.

River Stage Takeover – Greenwich+Docklands International Festival bring their much-loved mash-up of vibrant, inclusive and disruptive summer fun to River Stage. This celebratory line-up of street theatre, dance, music, and circus will delight audiences of all ages.
