Summer on the Green Launch Event

Pavilion on the Green is a newly built outdoor community and cultural space in Edmonton Green. Its located in the green space next to Edmonton Green overground station. Turn right out of the station and look for the large yellow structure on the grass.

Pavilion on the Green Summer Programme Launch Event

Join an array of local talent as we launch the Pavilion on the Green summer programme. Featuring performances by Central African Youth in Enfield, art workshops by Abi Ola and Tiger Monkey UK Ltd, a group fitness class by Faye Edwards and Jewellery Making by NYCC. Fun for all the family.

Event Activities – 2pm – 6pm

Drop-in anytime between 2pm and 6pm to enjoy the following free, family-friendly activities:

Abstract Collage Fabric and Painting Workshop – by artist Abi Ola

A mixed media collage workshop for all abilities and ages, transforming textiles into repeat patterns on paper and card, using drawing, painting, and collage fabrics. Participants will be able to take home their own artworks.

Make a Giant Mural with Tiger Monkey UK Ltd

Tiger Monkey UK Limited presents a fun afternoon of art for all ages. Help create a giant mural in a day with paper, pens, paint and crayons. Think bright colours, making stuff and sticking things.

Jewellery Making with Northside Youth Community Centre

Join this interactive workshop and learn to make your own jewellery with Northside Youth Community Centre.

Live Music and Storytelling from Central African Youth in Enfield

Central African Youth in Enfield will use music and storytelling to share the cultural heritage of the Congolese settlement in Edmonton.

Plus join an upbeat dance and movement workshop at 3pm – 3.30pm

F.I.T Jam with Faye Edwards

A fun confidence boosting dance workshop where you will learn a routine, broken-down step by step. The class offers an array of music genres such as Afro beats, Dancehall, House, Garage and more! F.I.T Jam is inclusive to all levels and abilities. This class is about getting out of your head and into your body by focusing on the feeling.
