13 July 2023 @ 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM

The text 'all at sea' with the outline of a cruise ship

All at Sea

Presented by Broken Silence (Face Front Inclusive Theatre)

Thursday 13th and Friday 14th July

The world’s fastest new cruise liner, The Silver Siren, is set to make her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, via some of the world’s most iconic locations. The proud Captain has inspected every inch of the ship, the crew are pristine and prepared, the catering staff have catered for every possible event, the entertainment staff are brimming with talent and delights, the passengers are ready to board, there is an atmosphere of excitement in the air…

However, unbeknownst to anyone, there are plans afoot, there are conspiracies and collusions, there is subterfuge and manipulation, there are plots and schemes to gain by unscrupulous means… But as luck would have it, world famous crime fiction writer, Philip Royce just happens to be a passenger onboard this ship, making life much more complicated for any would-be criminal masterminds.

Broken Silence is based at Park Avenue Disability Resource Centre in Enfield. The group is made up of over 25 disabled adults and is part of Face Front Inclusive Theatre. Face Front has been creating inclusive theatre since 1998. Based in Edmonton, they work across London and tour nationally, creating accessible theatre for schools and the public, with disabled and non-disabled performers. The shows and activities transform the lives of disadvantaged people, improving emotional well-being and addressing social injustice.
